She believes in the power of integrating therapies, in the sacredness of inner healing, belonging, wellness and safety. In her spare time, Dr. Borger is an avid lover of Pilates and Yoga, self-development, and enjoys traveling the world with her children. Dr. Borger enjoys exploring all things “woo” and is known for mixing science and magic in her trainings and retreats.

Dr. Lara Salyer, DO, IFMCP, is a functional medicine physician, author, and creativity catalyst who helps high-achieving women reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and creative power. After experiencing burnout in conventional medicine, she reimagined healing through the lens of flow neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and creative expression. She received additional training from the Flow Research Collective and is a student of core shamanism. She is the author of Right Brain Rescue, a memoir exploring how creativity and self-permission can transform burnout into vitality. Today, Dr. Lara runs a holistic membership practice, mentors women clinicians, and speaks internationally on creativity as a vital, teachable state of wellbeing. She is faculty at School of Applied Functional Medicine. Her work blends science, somatics, and soulful play—reminding people that regulation doesn’t have to be rigid, and healing doesn’t have to be heavy.
